Old Gear Singletrack (OGS)

Old Gear Singletrack is open to anyone who is old in spirit. It's a way to help folks meet for daytime singletrack (mountain biking). Especially retired older folks who might not have riding partners during working day hours. OGS is a personal project of John Faughnan" (jfaughnan@gmail.com). I'm a 1959 vintage pretty average mountain biker who is happy to ride slow or less-slow pace

OGS has two parts - chat group(s) and a public Google Calendar of scheduled rides As of June 2026 we are running two chat groups: Facebook Messenger Old Gear Singletrack and WhatsApp Old Gear Singletrack. We'll hopefully get down to one.

There is a link at bottom to add the ride calendar to your Google Calendar, you can add to Apple or Microsoft Calendars using the calendar ICS address. (Ask an ai how to do this). The Wed ride is not an OGS ride, it's a green-to-black ride that welcomes blue trail folk.
